During his visit in Washington, the Albanian President, Ilir Meta, attended the Translatlantic Leadership Network forum organized by the US Congress, with the topic: “Western Balkan: How to overcome obstacles in the EU path”.
The President underlined that the only border exchange that should take place is that of enlarging the EU border with the Western Balkans.
“I hope that there will be more serious European investors to bring their capitals in the strategic sectors of our economy, with the guarantee that they will enjoy full support, and will also help the depopulation of our countries”, Meta declared.
